Enable / Disable Auto-payments

This guide will walk you through the process of enabling or disabling auto-payments for your Ultahost account. Auto-payments automatically charge your default payment method for recurring services, such as hosting subscriptions.

By following these steps, you can control whether auto-payments are active on your account.

1. Access Your Payment Methods:

To manage your auto-payment settings, first, log in to your Ultahost account.

2. Navigate to Payment Methods:

Once logged in, go to the “Payment Methods” section of your account dashboard. You can find this section by visiting the following link: https://bill.ultahost.com/index.php/account/paymentmethods.

3. View Saved Cards:

In the “Payment Methods” section, you will see a list of your saved Credit/Debit Cards. These are the cards associated with your Ultahost account for billing purposes.

4. Remove Default Payment:

To disable auto-payments, you need to remove the default payment method from your account. Find the card marked as the default payment method and select the option to remove it. This action will prevent auto-payments from occurring.

5. Manage Payment Methods:

Additionally, you can manage your saved cards by adding, editing, or removing them as needed. This gives you control over which payment methods are available for auto-payments.

6. Confirm Changes:

Once you’ve removed the default payment method or made any desired adjustments to your payment methods, confirm the changes to save your settings.

7. Avoiding Auto-payments:

It’s important to note that if you have a default payment method saved on your account, auto-payments will occur. Therefore, to avoid unintended charges, it’s recommended to remove the default payment method when you do not want auto-payments to take place.
