How long does it take to process complaints?

We acknowledge and assess abuse reports, prioritize urgent threats, and take appropriate steps based on the evidence and applicable requirements. The time needed for an initial review or mitigation depends on the case.

An acknowledgment or initial review does not mean that an issue has been resolved. Final resolution may take longer depending on the evidence, investigation, mitigation required and any applicable deadlines. We provide decisions and notices where required by law, and other updates when practicable, subject to confidentiality. See section 4 of our Abuse Handling Policy for details.
