Is the investigation process different for registered and hosted domains?

Yes. If UltaHost hosts the affected material, we can investigate and take appropriate action at the content, hosting or account level. If another provider hosts the material, we generally cannot remove it from that provider’s servers. For a domain registered with UltaHost, however, we can still investigate and take appropriate registration-level action when the evidence supports it, including measures to mitigate DNS Abuse. You may also need to report content hosted elsewhere to the relevant hosting provider.
