Is the investigation process different for registered and hosted domains?

We can only investigate domains that are registered and/or hosted with us. If the abusive content is hosted elsewhere, we are unable to take direct action. In such cases, we strongly recommend reaching out to the respective hosting provider. This policy applies especially to issues such as copyright/DMCA violations, fraud, defamation, malware, hacking activities, and similar concerns.
