How will I know that my domain is expiring?

At Ultahost, we prioritize the needs of our registrants and are committed to providing a seamless experience. We understand how important your domain and services are to you, which is why we go the extra mile to ensure they remain active. To help you stay on top of important deadlines, we send timely notifications about upcoming renewals, so you never have to worry about interruptions, here are the two reliable methods to deliver renewal notifications we are using:

Email Notifications

Ultahost sends renewal notifications to the registrant’s primary email address on file. These notifications are sent at various intervals before the domain’s expiration date to provide ample time for renewal.

Timing of the Emails

First notification: Typically sent 30 days before the domain expiration date with an email subject “Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice”. Following the initial notification, additional reminders will be sent every 7 days until the domain reaches its expiration date. In essence, Ultahost sends multiple renewal notifications to the registrant prior to expiration.

Content of Emails

Each email includes clear information about the domain name, expiration date, renewal instructions, and a direct link to the renewal page. Prompting the registrant to log into their account and renew the domain.

Control Panel Notifications

In addition to the email notifications you already receive, we also enabled control panel warning notifications for your convenience. These in-panel reminders will appear when you log into your Ultahost account, providing an additional way to stay informed about your upcoming renewal dates.

Here’s how it functions:

A renewal warning message will appear in the registrant’s dashboard 45 days before the domain’s

The renewal icon, outlined in black, is where the registrant needs to click. This will redirect them to a page displaying all domains along with the number of days remaining before expiration. Refer to the screenshot below for reference.

This notification acts as an advance reminder, providing the registrant with sufficient time to renew their domain and avoid any service disruptions. The alert will remain active until the domain is either successfully renewed or reaches its expiration date.
